How the Ranking Is Calculated
The competition ranking is based on Profit Percentage Return.
The calculation is shown as:
Profit Percentage Return = (Floating P&L + Adjusted Closed Profit) ÷ (Starting Balance + Gross Deposits) × 100%
This calculation determines the percentage return used to compare participants during the relevant competition stage.
Important Ranking Conditions
Trades held for less than three minutes are treated as short-duration trades. Profits from these trades are excluded from the ranking calculation, while losses from these trades still count.
Only trades that are opened and closed within the applicable stage period are included in the calculation.
Additional deposits made during a competition stage are included in the denominator of the calculation. This means additional deposits can affect the final Profit Percentage Return.
Bonuses, credits, and non-trading transactions are excluded from the calculation.
How to Participate
- Register through the ATFX Client Portal and accept the applicable World Trading Cup competition terms.
- Fund the designated MT5 live trading account with at least USD 250.
- Trade during the applicable competition period. Positions must generally remain open for at least three minutes, and participants must trade across at least 10 different trading days during each stage.

- Finish within the top three positions of your region in Stage 2 to qualify for the Stage 3 offline Grand Final.
Important Rules for Participants
Participants are limited to one eligible account for the competition.
Copy trading, IB rebate, Cent, MAM/PAMM, and EarnPlus accounts are excluded from participation.
Withdrawals during a competition stage may lead to disqualification.
Internal transfers between accounts are not treated as deposits for the competition calculation.
The account used for the competition cannot be used simultaneously for another ATFX promotion or applicable campaign.
Travel prizes connected to Stage 2 and Stage 3 are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Winners are responsible for obtaining any required visas, travel insurance, and other related travel arrangements. ATFX is not responsible for visa rejection or travel disruptions.
Any taxes applicable to competition prizes are the responsibility of the winner.
Hedging across multiple accounts, latency arbitrage, coordinated trading, and churning are prohibited. Participants involved in these activities may be disqualified.
What Traders Should Know
The ATFX World Trading Cup 2026 is structured as a progression-based trading competition. Traders first compete within their sub-region, with the strongest performers moving to the regional stage. The highest-ranked regional traders then advance to the final offline event.
The ranking system focuses on percentage-based returns rather than simply comparing the total amount of profit earned. This means participants should understand how their starting balance, deposits, floating profit or loss, and adjusted closed profit affect their ranking.
The short-duration trade rule is also important. Traders who open positions for less than three minutes should understand that profits from those trades may not contribute to their ranking, while losses may still be included.
The requirement to trade across at least 10 different trading days during each stage is another important condition for participants to consider before entering the competition.
Risk Considerations
The ATFX World Trading Cup 2026 involves live trading with real capital. A minimum deposit of USD 250 is required per stage, meaning participants are exposed to the normal risks associated with forex and CFD trading.
Trading competitions can encourage participants to take greater risks in an attempt to achieve a higher ranking. Traders should carefully consider their risk management, trading strategy, and ability to withstand potential losses before participating.
Past performance during a trading competition does not guarantee future trading results. Participants should review the official competition terms and eligibility conditions carefully before registering.
Final Overview
The ATFX World Trading Cup 2026 is a three-stage global trading competition with a reported prize pool of more than USD 210,000. Eligible traders compete through Stage 1, Stage 2, and the Stage 3 Grand Final, with rankings determined primarily by Profit Percentage Return.
The competition includes regional and sub-regional prizes, while the Stage 3 Grand Final offers a top prize of USD 100,000.
Traders interested in participating should carefully review the official ATFX competition rules, eligibility requirements, trading conditions, registration dates, and risk disclosures before taking part.
